Washington County 4-H Rocketry

We are the rocketry project within the Washington County Wisconsin 4-H program.   The rocketry program is primarily focused on educating 4-H members about aerospace, with the  goal of them building, launching, and displaying their rockets for the 4-H fair.  We are also in our 3rd year of fielding a team in the Team America Rocketry Challenge.  Read about all of the 4-H teams that competed at the finals of TARC here. Last year's team finished high enough to be eligible to submit a proposal as part of NASA's Student Launch Initiative.  Our SLI project is now underway and more information may be found here.

The National 4-H Council and the National Association of Rocketry have teamed up to form a partnership to introduce rocketry to thousands of 4-H kids. This is part of a larger effort to get 1 million additional youth involved in science, engineering, and technology 4-H programs over the next 5 years.
